The onset of Mr. Mendoza’s career came in 2016, when he worked as a prosecutor in Victoria County, Texas, until 2018. He later served as a prosecutor for the Misdemeanor Trial Bureau in Fort Bend County from 2018 to 2020. Prior to his current appointment, he worked diligently as a private attorney for the litigation team at the Paxton Law Firm in Houston. As part of his dedication to his profession, Mr. Mendoza remains affiliated with the Houston Young Lawyers Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Mendoza cultivated a formal education. He originally earned a bachelor’s degree in English as The University of Texas at Arlington in 2013. Furthermore, he subsequently achieved a Juris Doctor at the Texas A&M University School of Law in 2015. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Mendoza is also a fully certified sadhana instructor.
As part of his work in the field, Mr. Mendoza is proud to have previously served as the only CPS prosecutor to have represented one of his former departments in casework pertaining to the abused and neglected children. Likewise, he has also successfully won many criminal trial cases, both as a prosecutor and as a defense attorney. In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his mentors and community. In the coming years, Mr. Mendoza looks forward to continuing his work in the field, and he hopes to have the Mendoza Legal Group become more closely affiliated with the health of his community.
