Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Fornaro pursued an education at Florida Atlantic University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and communication, cum laude, in 1999. He concluded his studies at The University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2002, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. In addition to these accomplishments, he has been admitted to practice law by The District of Columbia Bar, The Florida Bar and The Seminole Tribe of Florida Bar Association. Likewise, Mr. Fornaro has represented cases before The Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the Seventh Circuit, the Eleventh Circuit and the Federal Circuit, to name a few.
Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Fornaro has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his field. As a former board member, he had contributed to the Broward County Consumer Protection Board, the Broward County Historical Commission, and the Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital. He had been additionally active with Emerge Broward, the Mission United Veteran’s Project, and the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law’s Alumni Mentor Program and Ambassadors Program. Also appointed as the keynote speaker for the FAU Open House by Florida Atlantic University, Mr. Fornaro found success with his published works as well, having authored “A Parallel Problem: Grey Market Goods and the Internet” for the Journal of Technology Law & Policy in 2003, a publication for which he had been a senior articles editor.
Attributing his success to his hard work and the unwavering support of his family, Mr. Fornaro has been recognized as Legal Leaders’ Top Rated Litigator and Florida Super Lawyers’ Rising Star. Moreover, he was presented with the Claude Pepper Memorial Award from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, the Corporate Excellence Award from the CV Magazine, the Leading Advisor Award from Acquisition International and the 2017 Legal Elite Award from North American News.
