Jonathan J. Klein, Esq., partner at the Parlatore Law Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in litigation law.
Mr. Klein leverages more than four decades of experience in the field of law. Since beginning his professional career in 1984, he has specialized in various aspects of litigation law, including commercial, civil, tax and securities litigation. Furthermore, he is equally well-versed in criminal defense; corporate, military, labor, election and employment law; and tax assessment appeals. Since 2020, he has operated as a partner at Parlatore Law Group in Baltimore, Maryland, where he tirelessly defends and advocates for his clients both inside and outside of the courtroom.
Adjacent to his primary vocational endeavors, Mr. Klein honorably served in the United States Army from 1981 to 2004, earning the rank of lieutenant colonel prior to retiring from active duty. Over the course of his legal career, he has worked with several noteworthy companies and institutions, including Gladstone, Schwartz, Baroff & Blum in Bridgeport, Connecticut, from 1987 to 1993. Additionally, he served as a judge advocate for the U.S. Army Reserve, as part of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, from 1984 to 2004. Between 1995 and 2020, Mr. Klein also managed his own law firm, where he served members of his community in Bridgeport as an attorney and counselor.
Ever dedicated to his profession, Mr. Klein has remained active as a member of several pertinent organizations, including the Veterans and Military Affairs Section of the Connecticut Bar Association—he is also licensed to practice law in the state of Connecticut by the association, as well as by the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association. As part of his professional journey, Mr. Klein pursued a formal education, ultimately achieving a Juris Doctor at the Fordham University School of Law in 1980. Well-regarded for his committed service in the field, the college honored him as a Distinguished Military Graduate.
In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Klein has largely attributed his success to his attention to detail and his skills as a listener. He has developed a positive reputation as a lawyer who listens to and gets to know his clients, treating each of them with fairness and kindness and learning all he can from everyone he works with. Accounting for his accomplishments, he is particularly proud of the positive reputation he has developed in the eyes of his clients and fellow attorneys and judges. In the coming years, Mr. Klein looks forward to taking on new challenges during his time with the Parlatore Law Group.
