A two-time cancer and brain surgery survivor, she has accrued several accolades throughout her impressive career, including recognition among the 10 Best Law Firms from the American Institute of Family Law Attorney from 2017 to 2018, a three time recipient of the award for Best Lawyers in America for family law from 2021 to 2023 and selection among Colorado’s Best Lawyers by The Denver Post in 2021. Attributing her success to her dedication, Ms. Weitzel was further honored as the Best Lawyer in Family Law, Family Arbitration, and Family Law Mediation in 2023.
