Prior to these positions, she was active as a managing attorney with BP from 2000 to 2009, counsel for Atlantic Richfield Co. from 1989 to 2000, general counsel and a utility operation consultant in 1988 and a senior attorney with Southern California Edison from 1985 to 1988. Ms. Kreeger began her career as a trial attorney with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in Baltimore from 1978 to 1979 and Los Angeles from 1979 to 1985, during which time the aforementioned organization launched a lawsuit regarding the fair and non-discriminatory representation of people of color and people living with disabilities on television and its effect on the attitude on people in general.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Kreeger pursued an education at the University of California, Irvine, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1975. She concluded her academic efforts at the University of San Francisco in 1978, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Following these accomplishments, Ms. Kreeger has been admitted to practice law by the State Bar of California, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Beyond her primary responsibilities, Ms. Kreeger has been associated with numerous endeavors outside of her immediate professional circles. As a testament to her commitment to those in need, she has contributed to The MS Society. A former member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Ms. Kreeger has been further affiliated with the Association of Workplace Investigators and the American Bar Association.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Kreeger has accrued several accolades throughout her career. Acknowledged with the highest possible rating in legal ability and ethical standards on Lawyers.com, she was also presented with a Certificate of Recognition from the City of Los Angeles, California. Likewise, she fondly recalls receiving the congressional record to the U.S. House of Representatives which recognized the work of the Black Stump Men and Women’s Association, for which she was appointed as their attorney. Initially pursuing an education in Spanish Literature and politics before shifting her attention toward law, Ms. Kreeger is proud to pay her wealth of legal knowledge forward to the next generation of attorneys as a mentor, as her male predecessors refused to do the same when she began in her industry.
