He began his career as a staff attorney for the Committee for Public Counsel Services from 1985 to 1987 and the Law Office of Joseph P. Marchese from 1987 to 1988. Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Colicchio was also affiliated with the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Worcester County Bar Association and the National Association for Public Defense.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Colicchio pursued an education at Boston State College, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 1981. He concluded his studies at Suffolk University Law School in 1985, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Attributing his success to the great mentors, supervisors and peers around him over the years, he has accrued several accolades throughout his impressive career, including the 1985 American Jurisprudence Award in Commercial Law, the 1981 Mary E. Lynch Award from Boston State College and an academic scholarship from Boston State College. Proud to have established a nonprofit to help provide services to those with mental health and addiction issues, Mr. Colicchio is likewise incredibly proud to help a woman who was victimized throughout her whole life and battled intense legal troubles to help turn her life around.
