Ms. Wiss originally began her career in 1969, working as an economic analyst for The World Bank Group. Adjacent to her primary vocational endeavors, Ms. Wiss has also worked as an adjunct professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies since 2001.
Before beginning her career, Ms. Wiss pursued a formal education, attending Georgetown University and achieving a Bachelor of Science in foreign science in 1969 and a Juris Doctor in 1972. In addition to her academic credentials, she was also licensed to practice law by The District of Columbia Bar in 1972. Well-regarded for her professional accomplishments and extensive skill set, she has been honored with several accolades over the course of her career, including recognition as one of the Best Lawyers in Project Finance in Washington, D.C. in 2016. Accounting for her accomplishments, Ms. Wiss is most notably proud to have survived many tribulations throughout her tenure in the field and to have found success as the head of a law firm.
