Beyond her primary professional responsibilities, Ms. Branch has also found success as the co-founder of a nonprofit organization called Youth in the Middle. Since 2014, she has been driven to provide tuition and book scholarships to middle-class young adults who are often passed over for financial aid opportunities when seeking higher education. Ms. Branch was inspired to help establish Youth in the Middle due to her own experiences with following her dreams and seeing her visions materialize, as she wants to guide those in need toward satisfying their own goals.
Ms. Branch initially pursued a formal collegiate education at Norfolk State University, from which she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. She subsequently concluded her academic efforts at Texas Southern University in 2013, graduating from the Thurgood Marshal School of Law with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Moreover, Ms. Branch has been admitted to practice law by both the State Bar of Texas and the Virginia State Bar.
Harboring a lifelong passion for helping other people, Ms. Branch was greatly motivated by people’s desires to do greater things in life but their insecurity in finding the steps needed to make their businesses operational or better their situations in life. In the coming years, she hopes to advance to an administrative position at Hammonds Law Firm. Furthermore, Ms. Branch plans to dedicating her time and attention to building her family and have children in the immediate future.
