Prior to her current appointment, she served as the first counsel for Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC from 2017 to 2021. Ms. Selesnick originally began her career in her chosen field in 2001, working as an associate for WilmerHale (formerly Wilmer, Cutler, & Pickering) until 2004. As part of her dedication in the field, she also remains affiliated with the American Bar Association and The Phi Beta Kappa Society.
Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Selesnick pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in international security and conflict resolution, cum laude, at San Diego University in 1998 and a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in 2001. Furthermore, she has been licensed to practice law by The District of Columbia Bar and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Well regarded for her accomplishments in the field, she has been recognized as a 2020 Washington, D.C. Rising Star and as a Super Lawyer from 2019 to 2022. Attributing much of her success to her adaptability and love for learning new things, Ms. Selesnick is notably proud to have raised her son, and she hopes to continue leading the charge for universal health care in the United States in the coming years.
