Specializing in government relations, he has served as a founder and principal of Perry White Ross & Jacobson Government Relations since 2013. Alongside his partners, Mr. Perry represents large public companies and real estate developers in the state of Maryland. Some such companies include AT&T Inc., Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., and UnitedHealth Group Incorporated.
Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Perry served as a partner in government relations at Gordon Feinblatt LLC in Baltimore, Maryland, from 2005 to 2013. He also worked as the chief of staff in the Maryland Senate President’s Officer from 1998 to 2006 under Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller Jr., who served as an inspirational mentor. As part of his professional dedication, he remains affiliated with the Baltimore Country Club and the Green Spring Valley Hunt Club. Adjacent to his primary duties, Mr. Perry also remains active as a civic-minded citizen, serving as a board member of First Fruits Farm, a charitable nonprofit organization that specializes in food services.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Perry pursued a formal education at West Virginia University. After earning a bachelor’s degree in 1994, he subsequently continued his studies at the university’s College of Law, achieving a Juris Doctor in 1997. He continues to serve as a member of the board of visitors at the college. Furthermore, Mr. Perry is licensed to practice law by the Maryland State Bar Association.
To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Perry was named in the Top 40 Power Players List in Maryland, and he and his firm have been recognized as the Highest Paid Lobbyist and Lobbying Firm, respectively, in Annapolis, Maryland, on multiple occasions. Over the course of his career, he has largely attributed his success to the guidance of his mentors, who helped him to better understand his industry and how he might succeed within it.
