Before attaining his present role, he served as an attorney in the Law Office of Matthew T. Desrochers from 2012 to 2016 and as an intern in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in 2012. He previously worked as an electrician for 12 years.
Mr. Coluntino funded his law school education with earnings from his work at a construction company, obtaining a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Massachusetts School of Law and gaining admission into the Massachusetts Bar Association in 2013. Prior to studying law, he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and corrections from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2009 and studied criminology at Suffolk University from 2004 to 2006.
Mr. Coluntino was inspired to pursue a career in law by a childhood friend’s father, who held a similar background and had become very successful. Furthermore, he believed he would do well in law school because of his ability to read and quickly understand material. He was attracted to the practice of real estate law due to his background in construction. Committed to having a positive impact in his field, Mr. Coluntino is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the Real Estate Bar Association.
