Following numerous assignments clerking for county and family court judges, Mr. Manioci excelled as an associate attorney with the firm of Martin Handelman in Rochester from 1967 to 1970.
Since 2008, Mr. Manioci has prospered as attorney at law with the Law Offices of Gerald Manioci in Rochester, where his practice specializes in wills, estate planning and probate. In addition, as an immigration attorney he assists his clients obtain green cards and visas and also handles real estate transactions. Mr. Manioci decided upon law as a career at a recruitment event at Dartmouth College and maintains that his research abilities propelled him to a successful career in the legal field, as he tended to spend more time on research work than the average lawyer typically does. As a career highlight, he cites identifying a personality change in a female client involved in an automobile accident as an interesting highlight of his career. After discerning the behavioral change, he referred her to the appropriate professionals, and it made a huge impact on the case and the amount of the settlement. Now in his eighties, Mr. Manioci plans to scale back his workload in the near future.
