Gary B. Glass, General Counsel & Chief Human Resources Officer at HealthChannels, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in corporate law.

With 30 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Glass has excelled as general counsel, chief human resources officer, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary for HealthChannels since late 2015. He previously served with iGPS Logistics as general counsel, head of human resources, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer between 2009 and 2014, UST Inc. as general counsel, secretary and chief compliance officer between 2008 and 2009, and Altria Group, Inc. as senior assistant general counsel and compliance counsel between 2002 and 2008. Prior to these appointments, he was a litigation partner with Winston & Strawn LLP from 1997 to 2002 and an associate with Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP from 1995 to 1997. Mr. Glass began his career as the assistant district attorney for the New York County District Attorneys Office from 1992 to 1995.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Glass pursued an education at Princeton University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history in 1987. He concluded his formal academic efforts at the Fordham University School of Law in 1992, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence and Dean’s List honors. Following these accomplishments, he completed an executive training program in finance at the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business in 2004. Attributing his success to his dediciation, conviction, and emotional intelligence, Mr. Glass was drawn to in-house practice because he prefers to help clients build businesses and create value as opposed to representing clients in the long, drawn-out battles we see in today’s commercial litigation.
