In addition to workers’ compensation efforts with the Wenderoff Law Group, Ms. Doby has written and presented on subjects including cannabis and opioid addiction and overprescription of medications. Drawing on both her undergraduate degree in chemistry as well as her insights into workers’ compensation issues and trends in pain medication prescription practices nationally, she created her law firm’s Medication/MSA Reduction Program (MRP), a comprehensive program designed to help claims professionals reduce claimants’ use of prescription medications and excessive treatment.

Ms. Doby’s publications in prestigious journals include “The Uphill Battle: Challenging Bio-Pharma in IPRs,” in the New York Law Journal; she co-authored  “Recent Developments in Admiralty and Maritime Law” in Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Law Journal and authored “Reducing Exposure in State Claims,” for the Defense Research Institute.

Ms. Doby attributes her success to her ability to understand the profession in its entirety, and to really see that what she does impacts her clients. She is client-driven and takes her clients as her own and treats them as if they are family. She takes special pride in putting in effort to support individuals who are first generation lawyers trying to get a foothold in their careers.

In the coming years, Ms. Docy intends to continue to build up the law firm, a woman-owned and woman-operated law firm, and would like to see the firm as a nationally recognized law firm and to continue to keep expanding the diversity and inclusion measures.
