Eric H. Schweitzer, Partner at Schweitzer & Davidian, A.P.C., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in criminal justice.
Mr. Schweitzer initially pursued veterinary medicine at California State University, Fresno as a pre-veterinary medicine student but departed in 1988 to focus on a career and a life in law. From 1991 to 1995, he attended the San Joaquin College of Law in Clovis, California to obtain a Doctor of Jurisprudence.
After learning law as a trial counsel from 1998 to 2006, Mr. Schweitzer became a partner with Berman & Schweitzer. He has excelled as a partner with Schweitzer & Davidian since 2011. In 2012, he lectured about veterans and the law at the National Association of Criminologists convention in Chicago, Illinois.
Additionally, Mr. Schweitzer serves on a volunteer basis as the co-chairman of the legislative committee for the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice. He specializes in criminal defense, spending his days in and out of state and federal courtrooms. He has authored several articles for major publications, including the New York Times and the LA Times.
A lifelong love of learning has helped contribute to Mr. Schweitzer’s success. His thirst for knowledge and natural curiosity led him toward veterinary medicine during his school years. Spending time around lawyers made him hungry to learn more about the law. He has no plans to change career paths again any time soon and hopes to dedicate the next few years to continue practicing law.
