Backed by decades of expertise in the legal realm, Mr. Ciampoli currently excels as an attorney with Messina, Perillo & Hill, LLP, a role he commenced in 2019. In addition, he has served as a counsel member of the New York State Senate Republican Campaign Committee since 1992, of which he has also been associate counsel and counsel of majority legislative services. Among his earlier positions, he gained vast experience serving of counsel for Sinnreich, Kosakoff & Messina, LLP from 2013 to 2019, counsel of the board of directors of the Nassau University Medical Center from 2016 to 2018 and as county attorney for the Commissioner of Investigations from 2010 to 2014. Mr. Ciampoli has also worked with the Oceanside Sanitation District, the New York State Board of Elections and got his start clerking for Justice Kenneth D. Molloy of the Nassau County Supreme Court.
Finding great success throughout the course of his career, Mr. Ciampoli was named Conservative of the Year by the Dutchess County Conservative Committee in 2007, having also taken home awards from the Queens County Republic Committee, Independence Party of Westchester County and New York State’s Young Republicans. Notably, he has been bestowed with additional accolades from the Columbian Lawyers Association, Nassau Bar Association and Republican Lawyers Association of New York, as well as the Albany Law School Federalist Society with the James Madison Award for Law and Public Policy. Mr. Ciampoli attributes his success to the support and inspiration of his parents. His father, who was a retired chief deputy in the Bronx, taught him to do whatever he wanted to do and be better at it than anyone else. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government/biology from Pace University from 1981 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Hofstra University Maurice A. Deane School of Law from 1984.
