Chinyere “Chichi” Ofoma, Attorney at Ofoma Law Group, LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business and commercial law.
Ms. Ofoma initially obtained her undergraduate degree in management and information systems and graduated magna cum laude from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Jersey City. She continued her education with a Doctor of Jurisprudence with Rutgers School of Law in Newark in 2013. During her time in law school, she provided pro bono legal services and taught business law to high school students as part of the Rutgers Street Law Program. In addition, she represented Rutgers School of Law at the International Mediation Competition in Paris. Ms. Ofoma is a member of the New Jersey Bar, the New York Bar and is licensed to practice in Federal District Court in New Jersey.
Ms. Ofoma excelled as a SAP consultant and in information technology, working for IBM and she worked in different countries before transitioning to law. Her practice since 2015, Ofoma Law Group, LLC, based in Houston, provides service in business and commercial law, immigration law, marketing and advertising law and bankruptcy law, serving businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals.
While mentoring high school and college students on a variety of topics, Ms. Ofoma volunteers her time on committees geared towards community building and also actively volunteers with the Volunteer Lawyers for Justice Organization and the Pro Bono Partnership Organization, providing legal services to individuals, small businesses and non-profit organizations. In the coming years, she is hoping for the continued growth and success of her practice.
