After obtaining bachelor’s and master’s degrees in justice studies and writing, rhetoric and technical communications from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Mr. Jones continued his education with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2017 from Liberty University in Lynchburg. Mr. Jones has excelled since 2018 as a principal attorney, specializing in family law, with Holcomb Law PC,, a premier law firm headquartered in southeast Virginia that also deals with injury law and criminal defense.
To remain aware of changes and advancements in his field, Mr. Jones maintains affiliations with the Newport News Bar Association, York County Bar Association and Virginia Bar Association. He attributes his success to hard work, dedication, and a passion to what he is doing, as well as the love and support of his parents. His mentors were his boss and his professor at law school, Boz Tchividjian. Mr. Jones wanted to work with people who sometimes find themselves at their lowest point and help them through it. He is proud and fulfilled that he has the opportunity to help them and does it each day.
Mr. Jones’ goal in the coming years is to continue to grow and learn to be a better advocate for his clients and to be a better role model for younger attorneys coming behind him. He would like to potentially add some teaching work so that he can help shape and mold future attorneys.
