Title: Attorney
Company: ACM Law, PLLC

Amber Macias, Attorney at ACM Law, PLLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in criminal and personal injury litigation.
Following earning a Bachelor of Arts in English language and literature from Texas A&M University in College Station, Ms. Macias later continued her education with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2016 from St. Mary’s University of Law in San Antonio. Prior to becoming an attorney, she excelled for 15 years as a claims adjuster with premier insurance company The Progressive Corporation.
In 2019, Ms. Macias founded ACM Law PLLC in New Braunfels, where she specializes in personal injury litigation and criminal defense. Part of her job with Progressive involved negotiating with attorneys. Working very closely with them motivated her and made her realize that she could also do what they do. At 36 years of age, she started going to law school on the same day her oldest daughter started kindergarten.
Ms. Macias was one of the first 25 people to be accepted to the three-year Texas Future Indigent Defense Leaders program, during which she became involved with Gideon’s Promise, a group focused on teaching young attorneys and public defenders about client centered representation, specifically for indigent clients. They undergo intensive trainings every six months and network with other like-minded individuals. It has been a significant part of the past couple years of her life.
In the coming years, Ms. Macias’ plan is to have at least one attorney working in her practice. She would also love to have her children graduate from high school into college. The goal is for her to continue to have balance in her professional and personal life.
