John W. Shaller, Attorney at Panish Shea & Boyle, LLP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in personal injury and wrongful death litigation.
Following obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in University Park, Texas, Mr. Shaller earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of La Verne College of Law in Ontario, California. He is licensed to practice law in the State of California and his professional memberships include the American Association for Justice and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. In 2015, he was listed as a Southern California Rising Star 2015 by Super Lawyers.
Mr. Shaller began his legal career as a criminal prosecutor at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office where he gained valuable trial experience and skill prosecuting cases involving domestic violence, elder abuse, and other misdemeanor crimes, and from 2012 to 2016 prospered with McMahan Law in Los Angeles, representing clients at both the trial and appellate court levels in a wide range of cases relating to serious personal injury, wrongful death, elder and dependent adult abuse and medical malpractice.
After joining Panish Shea & Boyle, LLP in 2016, Mr. Shaller has made an impact as part of legal teams that have won multimillion-dollar settlements for a young woman severely injured when she was struck by a sports utility vehicle as well as a man injured in a bicycle accident in San Diego. He was also part of a legal team that won a multimillion-dollar verdict for the adult children of a 91-year-old man who was killed in a tour bus crash. He was recently part of the team that won a multimillion-dollar verdict for a Southern California man and his wife after the man suffered a lower leg amputation as a result of being struck by a 28-foot utility truck while riding his motorcycle.
Mr. Shaller maintains that his success is due to his hard work, willingness to listen and dedication to doing everything he can for his clients.
