Eduardo Salgado, Attorney at Centro Legal Chicago, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in injury litigation.

After moving to the United States from Puerto Rico, Mr. Salgado obtained a Bachelor of Arts in international political science with a minor in Japanese from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, in 2006 and subsequently earned a Juris Doctor from the Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2010. He flourished as an attorney with James Ellis Gumbiner and Associates, concentrating in representing clients involved in accidents who suffer catastrophic injuries, from 2011 to 2016.

Mr. Salgado has shone as an associate attorney with the firms of Baum, Ruffolo and Marzal Ltd since 2016 and with Cullen, Haskins, Nicholson and Menchetti, PC, representing injured workers before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission since 2020, both in Chicago. He has made his expertise available to the Hispanic community through Centro Legal Chicago, a firm he founded in 2018.

In addition, Mr. Salgado conducts community outreach programs that involve educating non-profit organizations on their rights when they are injured in the workplace. His affiliations include the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. In the coming years, Mr. Salgado hopes to expand his office by hiring those in the community.
