Upon earning a Bachelor of Arts in history and English from Baylor University in 1970, Ms. Green went on to achieve a Master of Library Science from the University of Kentucky in 1972. In the early days of her career, Ms. Green worked as a librarian for the D.C. Public Library, Orlando Public Library and University of Kentucky before choosing to pivot to the legal realm. In 1983, she obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the American University Washington College of Law and was subsequently admitted to practice in Virginia and Florida, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Ms. Green went on to serve as an associate at Richeson & Brown PA from 1985 to 1996, as well as a partner with Brown & Green PA from 1996 to 2001 and with Ford & Harrison LLP from 2001 to 2005.
Today, Ms. Green excels as an attorney and of counsel with Latham Shuker Eden & Beaudine since 2005 and 2016, respectively. Board-certified as a specialist in labor and employment law by the Florida Bar, she specializes in labor and employment law representing employers. In her notable career, Ms. Green has been named to the Litigation Counsel of American since 2008, Law and Politics Magazine as a Florida Super Lawyer since 2006, Orlando Magazine as a Top Lawyer since 2005 and to Best Lawyers in America for Labor and Employment Law since 2002. An AV-Preeminent Rated Lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell, she attributes her success to hard work and perseverance. To remain abreast of her field, she holds membership with the County Bar Association, Society for Human Resource Management, The Academy of Florida Management Attorneys and Federal Bar Association.
