Having accrued more than four and a half decades of valuable expertise in his chosen field, Mr. Redpath has earned recognition as the owner, tax attorney and consultant of Redpath Law Offices since 1980. In this respect, he aides his clients with all matters pertaining to tax auditing and litigation, high-level audits, appeals work, and Criminal and civil tax litigation nationwide. His proficiency in his line of work has resulted in consulting work for other attorneys and firms. Furthermore, he has served as a professor of law and taxation at Canisius College since 1985. He also lends his skills and expertise at the institution as the chairperson of the accounting department and the director of graduate accounting. Well regarded for his experience, he has contributed a wealth of articles on contemporary issues regarding the subject of taxation, including in the Journal of Business and Educational Leadership, the Journal of Business and Accounting, the BRC Academy Journal of Business and the Journal of S Corporation Taxation. Additionally, Mr. Redpath serves as a host on “The Tax Experts” and a guest on “Tax All Stars.”

Mr. Redpath first sought an education at Hillsdale College, where he received a Bachelor of Liberal Studies. Following this accomplishment, he went on to study at the University of Detroit, from which he earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Concluding his education at the University of Wisconsin with a Master of Laws, Mr. Redpath was admitted to practice law by the states of Michigan and New York, as well as before the U.S. Tax Court.

Known for his professional longevity, Mr. Redpath previously worked as a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay between 1981 and 1985, and as a visiting professor for a university in France. He also served as a prosecuting attorney in Michigan. Well regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Redpath was lauded as the Volunteer of the Year by the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, which also recognized him as the Man of the Year. In addition to receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Western New York Soccer State Association, he has won eight state championships in a row.
