Mr. Musslewhite been in practice for more than two decades and a partner at Brown & Musslewhite LLP since 2012. Specializing in personal injury litigation, he is chiefly responsible for handling litigations on behalf of the firm and is proud to have consistently obtained favorable verdicts on behalf of his clients. Before joining Brown & Musslewhite LLP, Mr. Musslewhite served as an attorney at Woska & Hayes LLP, representing clients against such large corporations as Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.
Prior to his work as an attorney, Mr. Musslewhite worked in Washington, D.C. on the staff of Congressman Nick Lampson of the 22nd and 9th Congressional Districts of Texas. He began his legal career as a clerk for a prominent Houston law firm after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in 1999. Mr. Musslewhite studied law at the University of Baltimore School of Law, from which he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2003. He has been admitted to practice law by the state of Texas, and has been sworn in to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
As a part of his commitment to the community, Musslewhite has volunteered for various causes, including a charity for abused children and Family Legacy, a nonprofit organization in Texas that seeks to make a difference in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children. He is a member of the American Association of Justice and the Texas Bar Association. Mr. Musslewhite credits his success to his dedication and diligence in preparing for his career. He was named one of the Top Ten Best Lawyers by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys in 2017, 2018 and 2019, and among the Top 100 Lawyers of Business Leaders and Professionals in 2018, among other accolades. Looking toward the future, Mr. Musslewhite hopes to expand the scope of his law firm to a national level.
