Mr. Castor obtained a Bachelor of Arts in government and law from Lafayette College in 1983 and was awarded his Juris Doctor by the Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1986. Moreover, he has supervised the County Investigating Grand Jury, conducted numerous wiretap investigations, and acted as special prosecutor for the Office of Attorney General and for other counties in Pennsylvania.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Castor has received countless awards and accolades, including a 1995 Trial Advocacy Award from the National Association of Government Attorneys for his work in investigating and prosecuting homicides. He received statewide recognition for his efforts by the Pennsylvania General Assembly and Governors Ridge and Casey on two separate occasions, holds a prestigious AV rating and has been listed on the Martindale-Hubble Lawyer Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers since 1996. He has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine from 2005 to 2008 and 2011 to present and has been listed among the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America since 2012. The Citizens’ Crime Commission of the Greater Delaware Valley honored him multiple times during his career. Mr. Castor was inducted into the Pennsylvania Police Hall of Fame in 2007, and in 2009 he was chosen by his peers as a Senior Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, the National Trial Lawyer Honor Society, a member of Elite American Lawyers, and the National Academy of Jurisprudence. Looking toward the future, Mr. Castor aims to continue leading a successful law career in private practice.
