He was inspired to pursue a career as a lawyer due to his family’s inability to afford an attorney’s services throughout his childhood. Harboring a passion to prioritize people over money, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in legal studies from St. Petersburg College and a Juris Doctor from the College of Law at Stetson University. Thereafter, he was licensed to practice law by the Florida Bar Association. In his current role, Mr. LaFevers also specializes in personal injury, torts, medical malpractice, civil rights issues, and Native American tribal law.
Utilizing his expertise to save lives, Mr. LaFevers is proud to have organized a motorcycle rights organization with the goal of revising traffic laws regarding motorcycles in the State of California. In addition to his professional career, he actively volunteers at a family law clinic at the Edgecombe Courthouse to help people represent themselves in divorce and custody matters. Throughout his career, he has maintained professional affiliations with the Florida Bar Association and the Choctaw Nation Bar Association. Looking toward the future, he aims to continue making strides in his current position while providing assistance in any way he can to the people of Tampa.
