Dale W. Schley II, a partner and senior associate at Laing & Weicholz PL, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in law.

Specializing in civil and commercial litigation, corporate and trustee representation and trust and estate administration, Mr. Schley has dedicated his career to representing a variety of clients in a multitude of litigation, business negotiation, and transactions. He initially obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Miami in 2005 before earning a Juris Doctor from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in 2007. Thereafter, he was licensed to practice law by the Bar Association of Florida before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Furthermore, he is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a circuit civil mediator and a county court mediator. Following graduation, Mr. Schley began his career as an associate at Young & Stein from 2008 until 2013.

Mr. Schley was inspired to pursue a career in law during his undergraduate education following an argument with a professor about a case in business law class. Urged to continue his studies as a law student, he is now gratified to have become a partner in less than 10 years after graduating from law school. In his free time, he works pro bono for law enforcement officers and volunteers at his local churches and schools. For his contributions in the field, he is honored to have been featured in the Business Law Review Journal. Looking toward the future, Mr. Schley aims to continue assisting young lawyers while working on files and representing clients.
