David Le’Charn Wyatt III, Esq., attorney and owner of Wyatt Law, PLLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in criminal law.
Renowned for his legal expertise, Mr. Wyatt provides services specializing in child custody, family law, criminal law, traffic law and real estate. At his private practice, which he established in 2020, his additional responsibilities include scheduling appointments with clients, filing paperwork at the clerk’s office, preparing for trials and managing all banking. Since 2018, he has found additional success with TrustPoint International, LLC. Over the course of his career, he has garnered a stellar reputation for his work with crime victims, murders and analyzing evidence. Embracing his moniker as “the people’s champ,” he is proud to provide his clients with accessible legal service and a fair trial, no matter the circumstance.
Motivated by his lifelong desire to help individuals who cannot afford a lawyer, Mr. Wyatt began his law career as a junior law clerk through an internship with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in 2009. Thereafter, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in political science and a Master of Art in criminal justice from Virginia State University in 2010 and 2012 respectively. During this time, he established himself as a client service specialist with the Virginia Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund from 2012 to 2014. Moreover, he garnered experience as a student leader at the Expungement Clinic of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area and through a study abroad internship in Den Hague, Netherlands. He subsequently earned a Juris Doctor from the Charlotte School of Law in 2017.
Mr. Wyatt is gratified to have had the opportunity to mentor and form professional relationships with his juvenile clients. Dedicated to his community, he is proud to have provided pro bono services for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Above all, he attributes his success to his mother, who continuously pushed him and kept him out of trouble. Looking toward the future, he aims to expand his practice to Florida and California. Furthermore, his goal is to further pursue his career into entertainment law, as he loves Hollywood and considers himself a movie buff.
