Mr. Dishman initially thought he would become an engineer, inspired by several family members who had found success in the field. Though he knew he could do the job, he was uninterested in the work, and eventually decided to pursue a career in law in order to help others navigate the legal system. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Lamar College. He then received a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2020.
Mr. Dishman is proud of the work he did to graduate from law school ranked 14th out of 188 students in his class. He attributes his success to a love of reading and enjoying school. He began his career as a part-time teller for the Community Bank of Texas, quickly rising to become an appraisal assistant. Since 2020, he has been an associate attorney with Creighton, Fox, Johnson & Mills, PLLC. As a testament to his success, Mr. Dishman received a CALI Award. Looking toward the future, he hopes to still be working with the firm he is currently at and to find his own specialty. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and volunteering with youth.
