Alongside her primary roles, she had also spent time as a board member of the Lawyer Referral Service of Central Texas. Ms. Wood considers her career highlights to be her years with the Appellate Court and being appointed master administrative law judge for the Louisiana Association for Justice. From her own experiences, her advice to aspiring legal professionals is to listen carefully and think critically. Looking toward the future, Ms. Wood aims to slow down in her professional work and take time for international travel, particularly to Norway, China, New Zealand and Australia.
