With more than 35 years of professional experience to his credit, Mr. Mucha has worked as a partner at Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy & Sadler PLC since 1995. Dedicated to helping businesses and entrepreneurs, the firm boasts a clientele of Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, publicly and privately-owned companies, and small businesses, as well as individuals. Prior to his current position, Mr. Mucha was an associate with Pepper, Hamilton & Scheetz from 1987 to 1995, and an associate and clerk with Lord, Bissell & Brook in 1986. In addition to his primary professional pursuits, he has been the treasurer of the Michigan Defense Trial Council since 2011, as well as a faculty member and depositions skills workshop speaker with the Institute for Continuing Legal Education since 2000.
Mr. Mucha prepared for his career at the University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in 1977, and a master’s degree in public policy in 1979. He concluded his higher education at the same institution, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1987. He has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit in 1990, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in 1987, and the state of Michigan in 1987. A contributing author to “Business Opportunities in the United States” in 1992, Mr. Mucha has also contributed his time to multiple civic endeavors, including serving as the chair of the Oakland County Bar Circuit Court Committee since 2020, among other affiliations. He has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades, including holding an AV Preeminent rating through Martindale-Hubbell since 2017, being named to Super Lawyers since 2008, being named to Detroit Top Lawyers since 2015, and receiving a Volunteer Award from the NBTC in 2018, among other honors.
