Representing a variety of personal injury Plaintiffs as well as numerous police officers, municipalities and municipal employees in defense of violations of Civil Rights Claims, Mr. Uliano has extensive trial experience in both the State and Federal Courts. Moreover, as plaintiff’s counsel, he is proud to have obtained numerous verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in political science from LaSalle University in 1970 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Seton Hall University in 1974. He is licensed to practice law by both the Bar Association of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court of New Jersey, and is certified as a civil trial attorney and a criminal trial attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Mr. Uliano began his career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Thomas L. Yaccarino from 1973 to 1974 and an assistant prosecutor for Monmouth County from 1976 to 1979.
As an approved attorney for the Monmouth County Joint Insurance Fund, the Police Legal Defense Fund, both the New Jersey State Police and Fraternal Order of Police and the New Jersey Educational Association, Mr. Uliano is grateful for the opportunity to represent police officers and teachers in disciplinary matters before their local employers and the Office of Administrative Law. Throughout his career, he has maintained his affiliations with the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Monmouth Bar Association, the New Jersey Association for Justice and the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey.
For his achievements in the field, Mr. Uliano is honored to have been a recipient of the Professional Lawyer of the Year Award from the Monmouth Bar Association in 2009 and the New Jersey Bar Association’s Commission on Professionalism in the Law in 2011. Moreover, he has been presented with the Abraham J. Zager Award for Professionalism from the Monmouth Bar Association, the James J. McLaughlin Award for Civility, Legal Competence, and Professionalism in Practice of Civil Trial Law from the New Jersey State Bar Association Civil Trial Section and has been included in the Super Lawyers list published by Thomson Reuters every year since 2007. Looking toward the future, Mr. Uliano aims to continue working with and building up his firm.
