While working for a law firm during college, Mr. Horowitz became passionate about law. He liked the profession and thought that it was an area where he could help people. Before starting on his career path, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Florida State University. He then received a Juris Doctorate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1989. Upon completion of his degrees, he was admitted to practice law in the state of Florida.
Mr. Horowitz is most proud of being able to help people during a difficult time and representing injured workers. He began his career in 1989 as a shareholder of Lloyd, Hoskins & Pierce, PA, where he remained until 2000. Since 2000, he has been an attorney at Matheson & Horowitz, P.A. As a testament to his success, Mr. Horowitz received an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell in 2016 and a Harry Gair Moot Court Scholarship from the Thomas M. Colley Law School in 1989. He has been inducted as a member of the Florida State Bar Association, Florida Justice Association, Florida Workers’ Advocates, Friends of 440, Sunrise Theater, and Robert D. McCauley Inns of Court. He was also listed in Who’s Who in American Law.
