Earlier, Mr. Day served as part-time corporate counsel for the City of Cedar Rapids from 1968 to 1975, with urban renewal as his primary responsibility. He attributes his success to good fortune and having been able to attend fine educational institutions, as well as being persistent in the pursuit of representing clients. Looking toward the future, Mr. Day hopes to continue practicing law for as long as he is able.
