April Becker, Attorney at April Becker and Associates, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in commercial real estate.
Ms. Becker became involved in her profession because she strong personal feelings towards attorneys and was sick of the representation for her company so she went to law school. She then took over one case that was ongoing and won it, which led her to continue to represent all her companies. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and criminal justice from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2006 and was awarded a Juris Doctor from William Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2010.
Ms. Becker’s career highlight is having a family business of commercial real estate and a gaming company. She is also proud of choosing to go back to law school with three children later in life. Since 2006, she has been the executive director of Becker Gaming. She has also been the executive director of Becker Enterprises, LLC since 2008 and owner and attorney of April Becker & Associates since 2019. Previously, she was an associate and attorney of Marquis Aurbach Coffing from 2010 to 2014.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Becker still wants to be in Las Vegas, still fighting for people, and advocating for those that cannot fight for themselves. As a testament to her success, she was named Legal Elite, by the Nevada Business Magazine in 2016, 2018 and 2019, Mountain Rising Stars in 2017, 2018, and 2019 and to the 100 Hours Club by the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. She has also been inducted as a member of the Clark County Bar Association and as an associate fellow of The Litigation Counsel of America. She was also chair of the advisory board of the UNLV Libraries and on the board of trustees for The Meadows School.
