Thomas Roeger Schmuhl, Esq., Corporate Attorney at Duane Morris LLP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in corporate law.

Mr. Schmuhl got his commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He was designated a DMG (Distinguished Military Graduate) and went to graduate school. He was already applying to law school and the Army told him to pick one and he’ll be sent there. He chose the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School in 1971. Before that, he matriculated at Johns Hopkins University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in the history of art and a Master of Arts in 1968. Upon completion of his degree, Mr. Schmuhl was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1971 and the Supreme Court of the United States in 1981.

Mr. Schmuhl began his career in 1971 as an attorney at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP, where he remained until 1997. Since 1997, he has been an attorney at Duane Morris LLP. While at Duane Morris LLP, he has also been the head of the International Practice and co-chair of the International Practice Group. Alongside his career, he has also been the founder and former chair of Multilaw and a member of the Law Review for the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
