With unparalleled expertise in his chosen field, Mr. Moudy lends more than 15 years of practiced industry experience to his role as a partner at Kammen and Moudy. Demonstrating proficiency in the practice areas of criminal defense and white-collar crime, he initially joined the firm as an associate in 2008 and rose to become a partner in 2012. Mr. Moudy initially became involved in his profession as an attorney through the Marion County Public Defender Agency in Indianapolis, Indiana, between 2006 and 2008, having first worked as an advertising copywriter from 1998 until 2003.
Among his many career accomplishments, Mr. Moudy was particularly gratified to have served as a public defender on behalf of Marion County, during which time he was proud to work alongside many passionate attorneys and legal professionals. Though he has since entered practice in the private sphere, he occasionally defends clients in federal court. Well regarded for his indelible contributions to the field, Mr. Moudy was notably recognized as a Bar Leader by the Indianapolis Bar Association.
Throughout the course of his professional journey, Mr. Moudy has long been sought after as a speaker at various conferences on the subject of criminal defense and often serves as an instructor for up-and-coming attorneys. He is also a board member of the John P. Craine House, a social services organization in Indianapolis, where he excelled as the president for two years. In pursuing a formal education, Mr. Moudy studied at Wabash College, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1998. Following this accomplishment, he attended the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University, where he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2006.
