A renowned attorney specializing in immigration law, Ms. Atallah founded the Atallah Law Group, LLC in Menthuen, Massachusetts in 2013. Highly regarded for her handling of the American hostage case of “Amer Fakhoury,” she was able to successfully help her client return to the United States from Lebanon with the support of the U.S. government. Ms. Atallah gained considerable legal experience as an immigration legal assistant at Shaheen and Gordon, P.A., one of the largest and most highly regarded law firms in New Hampshire. Seeking to provide the best professional legal services to clients all over New England, she has associated her firm with Shaheen and Gordon, P.A.
To remain abreast of her industry, Ms. Atallah maintains affiliation with the National Immigration Project, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Notably, she was the recipient of the Lawyers of Distinction Award in 2020, as well as named to the Top 10 Attorneys in Massachusetts in 2018 and 2019. Ms. Atallah attributes her success to hard work, faith, passion and caring, along with the guidance of her mentor William “Bill” Shaheen.
Ms. Atallah attained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Massachusetts School of Law in 2013. She recalls always having a desire and passion to help people, especially those that needed help expressing their voices. Essentially, she felt like she could make a real difference in the world by being an immigration attorney by bringing justice to refugees or people who just needed a second chance. Looking ahead, Ms. Atallah hopes to get involved in policy formation, as she believes that as a lawyer you can make a difference but also when you get involved in politics or policy formation you bring about a change or a difference, especially when it comes to immigration. In addition, she has plans to write a book on the many cases she has worked on.
