Matthew J. Morrison, Principal Attorney at Morrison Law Office, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business and commercial law.
While contemplating his early career choices, Mr. Morrison decided to delve into the field of law in order to help others and unlock possibilities that were previously unknown to them. He received a Bachelor of Arts in history from Brigham Young University in 2004 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the School of Law at Washington & Lee University in 2007. At the inception of his career, he served as an associate attorney for Hedrick, Murray, Bryson, Kennett, Mauch & Conner for one year and for Boxley, Bolton, Garber & Haywood for an additional three years. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Morrison served as an in-house counsel for Seterius Inc., between 2011 and 2013 and for Freedom Legal from 2013 until 2014.
Since 2014, Mr. Morrison has served as the director of human resources and vice president of finance for Five Star Franchising, as well as the principal attorney for the Morrison Law Office since 2016. With his private firm, he specializes in business and commercial law, including franchising, corporate litigation and estate planning. In his role as the principal attorney, Mr. Morrison works directly with his clients to share his breadth of knowledge in an effort to help them succeed in their endeavors.
A member of the American Bar Association and the Corporate Law Division of the Utah State Bar Association, Mr. Morrison has been recognized extensively for his expertise. He has notably been featured in the Washington Journal of Civil Rights and Justice, and he attributes his immense success to his diligent work ethic, his strong communication skills and the encouragement of his family. Looking toward the future, he intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career. In his spare time. Mr. Morrison contributes to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Boy Scouts of America.
