William Harrison Ogle, Attorney at the Ogle Law Firm, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of legal services.
Drawing inspiration from his early involvement in the civil rights movement, Mr. Ogle has earned distinction through his law practice for more than four decades. Specializing in the fields of medical malpractice, product liability and tobacco litigation, he initially began his career as an instructor in trial advocacy on behalf of the University of Florida. Since embarking upon his professional journey, Mr. Ogle has been recognized with such accolades as inclusion in the Top 10 Personal Injury Attorneys in the State of Florida in 2020, where he has also been praised for rendering one of the Top 20 Verdicts.
Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Ogle sought a formal education at Emory University, from which he attained a Bachelor of Arts, with honors. Following this accomplishment, he went on to study at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence, with honors, in 1982. Mr. Ogle was subsequently admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of Florida, the Supreme Court of Tennessee and by various United States District Courts, among other judicial bodies. Likewise, he was certified as a civil trial specialist in 1992, and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
Among his many career achievements, Mr. Ogle is most proud to have been involved in the rendering of a verdict against a tobacco company in Orlando, Florida, which saw the restitution of more than $16 million dollars. Furthermore, he is honored to have obtained a number of large settlements in favor of victims of childhood abuse. Outside of his professional circles, Mr. Ogle enjoys such diversions as scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking and general travel.
