Michael D. Schultz, Associate Attorney at Davis & Ferber LLP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in personal injury law.
Since watching legal shows on the A&E network in his youth, Mr. Schultz desired to help people through his fascination with the law. After earning a Bachelor of Science in business administration, magna cum laude, from Wagner College in 2012, he went on to obtain a Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. John’s University School of Law in 2015. He quickly excelled as an associate attorney with Dell & Dean, PPL, where he performed legal research and focused primarily on writing and opposing motions, as well as appeals, on a wide variety of topics relating to personal injury litigation until 2019. Prior, Mr. Schultz gained initial legal experience through two internships at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office and one at the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office between 2011 and 2014.
Since 2019, Mr. Schultz has flourished as an associate attorney in the personal injury and medical malpractice group at Davis & Ferber LLP. Notably, he has successfully written, opposed and orally argued numerous motions that have allowed his clients to have their day in court and achieve a maximum recovery for their injuries. Likewise, he has also prepared and argued numerous appeals in the Appellate Division. Mr. Schultz attributes his vast success to hard work and motivation, along with his mentor Joseph Muzio. Presently, he holds membership with the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association and New York State Trial Lawyers Academy. Looking toward the future, Mr. Schultz envisions himself as one of the top appellate attorneys in the state and practicing before the U.S. Court of Appeals in New York or even the U.S. Supreme Court.
