Ralph E. Labaton, Associate at Haug Partners LLP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in litigation.
During his collegiate years, Mr. Labaton took a liking to litigation, along with its intellectual vigor and fast-paced nature. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in industrial and organizational psychology, cum laude, from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business in 2013 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in business law and regulation from the Cornell Law School in 2016. Upon attaining his degree, Mr. Labaton served as an associate at Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer LLP from 2016 to 2019. Since 2019, he has excelled as an associate at Haug Partners LLP. Today, Mr. Labaton is admitted to practice in New York, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and Ninth Circuits and the Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York.
In the earlier years of spearheading his career, Mr. Labaton was an intern with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement, an associate at Labaton Sucharow LLP, a law clerk at Cornell Law’s Securities Law Clinic and a Liz Kasulis Padilla Fellow of the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project between 2014 and 2016. He had also been a research/administrative assistant at the Insurance Archaeology Group Ltd. in 2013 and an assistant to the photographer with Morris Antebi Photography from 2009 to 2013, as well as a teacher’s assistant at Baruch College and Columbia University in 2012. A member of the Federal Circuit Bar Association and a young professional board member of the Friends of Jerusalem College of Technology, Mr. Labaton attributes his success to excellent mentors. In five years’ time, he would like to keep growing as an attorney and guide his clients to the best of his ability.
