M. Cristina Morales, Partner at Gedeon & Morales Law Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in immigration and family law.
Growing up, Ms. Morales always had an opinion and felt that the injustices she experienced around her were wrong. A native of Cuba, she relocated to the United States in 2004 and later earned an Associate of Arts in psychology from Miami Dade College in 2009. Soon thereafter, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Florida International University in 2010 and concluded her academic efforts with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the St. Thomas University School of Law in 2014. While attending St. Thomas University School of Law, Ms. Morales served as a student representative for the Immigration Clinic.
Since 2015, Ms. Morales has excelled as a partner with Gideon & Morales Law Group. In the position, she practices immigration and family law as well as transactional real estate closing, probate and guardianship. In addition to her professional practice, Ms. Morales contributes pro bono legal work and assists clients for the Miami-Dade Legal Aid Put Something Back Program, American for Immigrants Justice and other nonprofit organizations. Likewise, she maintains affiliation with the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Florida and Miami Dade County Bar Associations, Haitian Lawyers Association, Cuban American Bar Association and is an alumni member of Phi Alpha Delta and Phi Delta Phi. Ms. Morales attributes her success to hard work, her willingness to learn and her love for her job. In the coming years, she hopes to grow her practice and mentor future law students who would like to pursue a career in the field. Additionally, she would like to work towards becoming a judge.
