Growing up, Mr. Marinas was inspired by his mother, a distinguished college professor and respected businesswoman. She encouraged him to research as much as possible, leading him to grow a passion for the hobby. After graduating from high school, he originally wanted to become a doctor but changed his mind after taking several science courses. Mr. Marinas then chose to pursue law, as his father, uncle, and several cousins had all found success in practicing the law. Building off the Bachelor of Arts in political science he earned from Syracuse University, he went on to earn a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Inter-American University School of Law in 1992. Two years later, Mr. Marinas completed his academic ventures by attaining a Master of Laws from the American University Washington College of Law.

Since 2018, Mr. Marinas has excelled as a shareholder and partner at Maschmeyer Marinas P.C. Prior to taking on this position, he gained experience at multiple respected institutions. From 1998 until 2000, Mr. Marinas served as a law clerk to the Honorable David A. Scholl in the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts. From there, he became an associate attorney at Maschmeyer Karalis P.C. Further, Mr. Marinas has done pro bono work for the Latin and Hispanic communities of Pennsylvania for the last 20 years, as he is determined to help as many people as possible.

Reflecting on his illustrious career thus far, Mr. Marinas attributes his success to perseverance. He is consistently motivated to succeed. As an active member of his field, he maintains affiliation with multiple professional organizations. These include the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association, among others. Looking toward the future, Mr. Marinas hopes to upkeep his good health, continue helping his clients and embrace whatever the future has in store for him. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling and trying foods from different cultures.
