Encouraged by a high school teacher who noticed his aptitude for the legal profession, Mr. Griffin went on to serve the U.S. Army National Guard for eight years. Concurrently, he received a Bachelor of Arts in political science, with honors, from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in 2001 and achieved a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 2004. Today, he is admitted to practice in California, Idaho, Washington and Washington, D.C., as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California. Backed by nearly 15 years of legal expertise, Mr. Griffin has excelled as a managing principal and chief trial counsel for Griffin, P.C. since 2018. Specializing in real estate law, he has been a licensed real estate broker since 2016, allowing him to flourish in the field even further.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Griffin gained initial experience as an intern for Representative Chris Cox of the 47th Congressional District. Between 2007 and 2018, he served of counsel and as a partner for a firm in Orange County, as well as of counsel for the August Law Group. Presently, Mr. Griffin maintains affiliation with the State of California Escrow Law Advisory Committee, California Land Title Association and State Bar of California Special Master List. He also sits on the board of directors for the Homeowners Association. He cites his appointment to the State of California Escrow Law Advisory Committee has been the highlight of his career, as he is recognized as one of four escrow attorneys in California. Mr. Griffin attributes his success to hard work and determination, along with his positive outlook on life. In the coming years, he wishes to continue his line of work and take on more public speaking opportunities for trade organizations and escrow associations.
