Inspired by his mother, who was disabled, Mr. Shapiro developed an innate understanding and deep sympathy for the disabled community. With this sentiment, he decided to pursue a career in personal injury law. Moreover, he matriculated at the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in telecommunications in 2003 and a Master of Arts in mass communication studies in 2005. Notably, in 2009, he obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Brooklyn Law School. At the start of his career, Mr. Shapiro worked as an associate attorney at Scarpelli & Brady LLC in Illinois, holding the role for three years. Soon thereafter, he joined the Law Office of Daniel E. Goodman LLC as an attorney from 2015 to 2017, later accepting a position with the Law Offices of Francis J. Discipio in Illinois from 2017 to 2019.

Since 2019, Mr. Shapiro has flourished as the president and attorney at law at his eponymously-named law firm, the Law Office of Jack M. Shapiro, P.C., located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Shapiro has attributed his professional success to his desire to win. He takes time to prepare for each case, as he ensures that he listens to and understands his clients’ needs. In an effort to remain aware of changes in the legal field, he maintains professional affiliation with the Illinois State Bar Association and the Northwest Suburban Bar Association. In the coming years, Mr. Shapiro plans to remain an active member of his community at large in Buffalo Grove. Additionally, he hopes to continue practicing personal injury law, as well as work to grow his firm to have a larger team of attorneys.
