Ronnie Berke, Partner at Berke Berke & Berke, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in trial law.
Growing up in a family of attorneys, Mr. Berke was inspired to follow the same path from listening to his father’s stories about helping people. He wished to one day serve people in the same way his father did, as his father told him there was no feeling like winning someone their justice. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Virginia in 1967 and went on to receive a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University in 1970. Upon completion of his degree, Mr. Berke was admitted to practice law in the state of Tennessee and the Supreme Court of the United States in 1970, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee in 1971 and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 1976.
Mr. Berke attributes his success to good training by his father and older brother, along with a lot of hard work. He joined the family practice, Berke Berke & Berke, in 1971 as a partner and has been in that position ever since. From 2000 to 2015, he served on the board of governors for the American Association for Justice. As a testament to his success, Mr. Berke received the Tennessee Supreme Court Service Award and the Bancroft-Whitney Publishing Company American Jurisprudence Award. He has also been inducted as a member of numerous esteemed organizations including the American Association of Justice, American Association of Justice State Delegates, American Trial Lawyers Association, Melvin Belli Society and Chattanooga Trial Lawyers Association, to name a few.
