After receiving a Bachelor of Science in business administration and marketing from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1992, Mr. Salis wished to build a career around his passions for politics, debate and history. He recalled the work of his uncle, a corporate lawyer, and became inspired to pursue the study of law in order to best utilize his skills and interests. In 1995, he achieved a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Brooklyn Law School and is now certified to practice in New York, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and Ninth Circuits. Mr. Salis commenced his professional career in 1996 and joined Rosen, Einbinder & Dunn P.C. in 2002 as an associate attorney, excelling in the role until 2005. For five years, he served The Richard L. Rosen Law Firm PLLC as an attorney until 2010, in which he was promoted to partner.

Specializing in corporate law, franchise law, real estate, trusts and estates and commercial litigation, Mr. Salis is distinguished for his extensive knowledge and significant experience in his career. He most enjoys helping small businesses navigate various aspects of franchising, buying and selling, as well as offering his counsel based on his experiences. To remain abreast in his industry, Mr. Salis holds membership with the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, New York County Lawyers’ Association and American Bar Association Forum Committee on Franchising. A contributing author to international franchise articles, he is also a co-author to “The Franchise Law Review, Law Business Research Ltd.” from 2016 to 2018 and to “International Comparative Legal Guide for Franchise” from 2017 to 2019. In five years’ time, Mr. Salis hopes to expand The Richard L. Rosen Law Firm and grow its educational offerings in order to help a wider reach of people.
