Initially, Mr. Morgan became involved in his profession because his father was an attorney and always encouraged him to do the same. Upon earning a diploma from High Point High School, he attended Guilford College and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1966. Furthermore, he concluded his studies with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1969. He was later admitted to practice law in the state of North Carolina as well as the United States District for the Middle District of North Carolina.

Mr. Morgan has most recently excelled as the managing partner and attorney at law with the Morgan, Herring, Morgan, Green & Rosenblutt, LLP. Through this firm, he responsible for handling cases regarding civil litigation, criminal defense, real estate, bankruptcy, estate planning, and personal injury. A shining achievement of his career was serving as president of the Highpoint JC’s, which was a leadership training organization for young men. During his tenure with the organization, he held many executive positions and was proud to have brought the membership count to 275 members. For his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Morgan has been the recipient of numerous honors in the field including the Professional of the Year for Outstanding Achievement in Field of Law, the Star Award from the High Point Arts Council, and the Philanthropist of the Year from the Association of Fundraising Professionals, among other accolades.

Civically, Mr. Morgan has chaired more than 75 charitable organizations throughout his career. In five years, he will continue working in the full-service practice, assisting clients at reasonable prices. He intends to reevaluate his work schedule but enjoys the work he does with his community. Outside of work, he enjoys dancing, playing volleyball, yard work, and fundraising events in his spare time. Moreover, Mr. Morgan is active as the chairman of the High Point Community Foundation.
