She recalls another achievement was the regulatory reviews they were achieving.
Upon her completion of law school, Ms. Scott commenced her career as an attorney for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms at the U.S. Treasury Department from 1982 to 1986. She then became an attorney for the Office of the Assistant General Counsel at the U.S. Treasury Department from 1986 to 1990, where she worked on a variety of enforcement-related items including anti-money laundering. From there, she joined the New York State Banking Department as an associate attorney and assistant counsel in 1990, staying until 1998. Smoothly progressing in her career, she joined White & Case LLP in 1998, starting as a senior associate. Moving up to the rank of counsel, she excelled in the role until 2008. She then joined Arnold & Porter LLP in 2008, serving as counsel until 2014 before taking on her role with Norton Rose Fulbright.
